Modern slavery statement
Nextroute publishes this statement voluntarily. We are a new, small organisation and below the turnover threshold that legally requires one — but an organisation working on employment and second chances should hold itself to this standard from day one.
Our position
Modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking have no place in our work, our partnerships or our supply chains. This matters doubly for us: people leaving custody and people out of work are among those most at risk of exploitative labour, and our entire model exists to offer a legitimate alternative.
What we do
We only connect people to genuine, paid employment with employers we have engaged directly. We never charge participants. We do not tolerate 'trial shifts', unpaid work or cash-in-hand arrangements presented as opportunities.
Our direct supply chain is minimal (technology and professional services). As partnerships grow, due diligence on employment practices will be part of how we select employer partners.
Concerns
If you suspect exploitation connected to anything Nextroute is involved in, email atifmahmood1982@gmail.com with the subject line 'Modern slavery'. You can also contact the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
This statement will be reviewed annually and republished as the organisation grows.
